Pros:

Fantastic truck, great baseline for an overland build, 6’ bed can hold lots of gear w/ the HD springs. The 2nd gen Tacomas are so robust and just do not stop. Outperforms the 3rd Gens in reliability and driving characteristics. Drivetrain is smooth and still maintains decent MPG with stock gears. Suspension/tires have ~30k mi and have proved their reliability. Registration paid Sep 2021. Stereo is bangin

Cons:

Clockspring is shot, intermittent horn usability. Rear ABS harness was cut; ABS, trac light, BRAKE lights are lit on dash, A-Trac disabled. Drivers sunvisor is flimsy. Driver seat has a medium tear. Body has a few good scratches from trail damage. Headlights suck. Right rear panels were replaced (insurance claim) from an incident on the trail.
